TERMS & CONDITIONS
I am a Qualified and Insured Freelance Makeup Artist.
Please note all reservation fees are non refundable.
Payment of any reservation fee indicates acceptance of the Terms & Conditions stated below.
WEDDING BOOKINGS
On receipt of the £150 Reservation fee for your wedding package I will place your Wedding Date "on hold".
Following your trial, the reservation fee for your Wedding booking will be due in order to secure your date. This fee is 50% of the remaining package amount.
The remaining balance for the wedding package must be paid 1 month prior to the appointment.
Please note once a package is reserved you cannot swap and change to a lower package.
Additional trials for bridal party members must be paid for in full to secure the trial appointment slot. This fee is non refundable.
In the extremely unlikely event that Alice is forced to cancel your booking you will receive a full refund if you have not yet had your bridal trial. If you have paid the 50% of the package cost after your trial appointment Alice will refund this to you if she can't make your wedding date. ( rest assured this has never happened before )
If the client cancels within 12 weeks before their big day the remaining payment amount is still due.
BRIDAL TRIAL INFORMATION
After the bridal trial you have 24 hours to pay the 50% reservation fee to secure your wedding date. If you do not make payment within this time your wedding date will become available to Alices waiting list.
If after leaving the trial you would like to try another makeup style you are welcome to book in for another session at the cost of £100. If you cancel or reschedule your bridal trial up to 1 month before your appointment the next instalment will still be due.
DESTINATION WEDDING BOOKINGS
To secure your date, Alice requires the £150 reservation fee plus travel and accommodation costs up front.
The remaining booking is handled as per the wedding booking terms above.
Alice will not be held responsible for travel delays.
SPECIAL OCCASION MAKEUP BOOKINGS
On receipt of the 50% Reservation fee for your makeup appointment this will secure your appointment.
The remaining balance for Special Occasion Makeup bookings must be paid at least 1 week prior to the appointment. If the clients cancels within 1 month of the appointment the remaining payment amount will be due.
MAKEUP LESSON BOOKINGS
On receipt of the 50% reservation fee your Makeup Lesson appointment will be secured.
The remaining balance for the Makeup Lesson must be paid at least 1 week prior to the appointment. If the client cancels within 1 month prior to the appointment the remaining payment will be due.
PAYMENT DEADLINES
If Alice Wotton Makeup has not received payment in the stated time period (1 week or 1 month or 12 weeks) before your appointment AND you cancel after this time period the remaining balance will still be due for the appointment.
Reservation fees are due within 24 hours of receiving your invoice. If you don't not communicate with Alice and fail to pay the reservation fee your booking will not be reserved. Please contact Alice once payment is made to confirm your reservation.
Trial payments are required within 24hours after your trial. If this is missed your date will be released and your date will be open to Alices waiting list of brides.
VOUCHERS
Upfront payment of the full price of the service is required to receive a voucher. Vouchers are valid for 6 months. Vouchers are non refundable.
MISCELLANEOUS
Alice Wotton Makeup cannot guarantee or be held accountable for any allergic reactions, or any complications from the makeup or application.
Any photos or film taken by myself on the day or by a professional photographer or videographer can be used for my own promotional use on my website and Social Media account. Please note Alice will not tag clients on social media platforms unless specifically asked to.
TRAVEL
A travel charge my be applicable at 50p per mile. Long distance journeys totalling to 2 hours or more will be charged an additional hourly rate of £25.
In circumstances when parking fees apply the client will be required to cover the charges where the makeup appointment is being conducted. For example, Hotel parking, Meter Parking.
Accommodation costs are required for journeys longer than 2 hours and these costs are to be paid upfront with the reservation fee, this is non refundable.
Please let Alice know of any limited parking at your location, due to the amount of heavy equipment brought along. If this has not been made aware ahead of the wedding/event, Alice Wotton Makeup will not be held responsible for any delay this could cause.
